What the Course is About:
Many users of risk information cannot present these in the right format that will elicit the interest of all stakeholders, especially the board and the management of organizations. This challenge has severally led to the disinterest of those who ordinarily rely on these reports for decision-making. If a risk report is not presented in the right frame and perspective, it cannot communicate correctly or professionally, and its importance will be eroded or diluted. Projects running into billions
suffer unnecessarily due to the inability of the project manager or risk manager to present reports accurately about the risks in the project. This happens in all industries and sectors. Another known fact is that most often, the person reporting on risk is not a risk professional but just reporting it as a part of the general presentation of the project, so the presenter usually lacks the money to make a professional report on risk.
