COURSE TITLE: REPUTATION & COMMUNICATION RISK MANAGEMENT
LEVEL: ADVANCED DIPLOMA
DURATION: 4 MONTHS PART-TIME / 4 WEEKS FULL-TIME (HYBRID)
Course Overview:
The need for managing reputation risks in organizations has never been more relevant! And urgent! This is because every action of the organization’s officers affects the institution’s image, and this also impacts the bottom line. However, many executives have yet to fully understand or appreciate the link between these two essentials in organizations: image and bottom line. They cannot decipher the ROI of reputation. Additionally, most corporate affairs managers in charge of organisation image management do not look at their jobs from a risk management perspective. Many do not see themselves as reputation risk managers but rather hold on to their old description of their functions as corporate affairs handlers.
The course is designed to change this paradigm and provide an understanding of organisations’ financial and non-financial risks. This will no doubt help the image makers of the institutions to know more about the existence and impacts of these risks on their organisations’ business and their influence on the internal and external relationships. This training is thus multifaceted. It will cover topics such as the approach to risk management through risk identification, risk assessment, risk management (or mitigation); reputational risk; communication risk; operational risk; and more.
